Our focus is about the next generations and their future in our under-served communities.

In the wake of the tragic youth killings during last six months, we invite all community leaders and activists with deep roots in our communities to stand side by side in solidarity, turning our collective attention towards public safety issues, youth gang violence, racial injustice, income inequality, affordable housing, education, health and economic progress.

Our philosophy is simply based on unselfishness, honesty and integrity. “Asking for help” and being open to the talents, expertise and insights of others is how we lead our lives. This is our show of strength that fills the gaps in own own aptitude. In many ways, it is the secret of our leadership success.

In our modern society, the metaphor of the heart is often associated with yielding and kindness. Nonetheless, the heart is also strong and powerful, as well as the driving force of life. True power means listening from the heart and having the commitment and humility to clear all that stands in the way of that heart connection. Yet, having “heart and soul” goes beyond treating others well; when pure sincerity forms within, it is outwardly realized in other people’s hearts.

Leadership is also about focus, concentration, and determination, leadership is also about having the stamina to stay the distance and leadership is also about values and purpose. True leaders understand that leadership is not about them but about those they serve.

Our platform's bottom-up grassroots approach —much in the way grass grows— is demystifying the myth that we as a community can’t come together. By harnessing support at local level, we send a clear, profound message that is aiming to bring about changes that influence social issues.
