Dear Compton Family,

Now that my mayoral election run this time around has ended, I, Lamar Willis would like to take the opportunity to thank everyone for your votes, contributions, rallies, campaigns and dedication to making the city of Compton a safer, stronger place. On behalf of my campaign team, I thank each and every one of you for your campaign support and your vote of confidence in my ability to devotedly represent the will and need of the people.

During the past months, the Compton community has shown their concerns in most tangible ways. Thank you for your generosity with your time, spirit and contributions.

While I am both moved and honored by your support, the real goal is what is best for our community and for each and every citizen in Compton. I promise that I will be tireless working to improve the quality of life in the city of Compton, and will bring all of my intellectual and personal capabilities to support the incoming leadership.
